Linux System Administrator

Job Title: System Administrator / Senior System Administrator 

Job Purpose: 

Provide 24/7 hosting and infrastructure support for Magento eCommerce environments, ensuring high availability, security, performance, and operational stability. 

Key Responsibilities: 

● Monitor infrastructure using Zabbix and AWS CloudWatch. 

● 24/7 incident response and RCA documentation. 

● Manage Debian Linux, NGINX, PHP, Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch, and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, Route53, Auto Scaling). 

● Ensure security: firewall, access control, SSL management. 

● Backup & disaster recovery: automated backups, verification, and restore testing. ● Infrastructure-level performance monitoring and optimization. 

● Scaling and provisioning for Single Server, Multi-Server, and Auto-Scaling environments

Required Skills & Competencies: 

● Experience with web hosting environments. 

● Strong Linux (Debian), NGINX, PHP, Redis, Varnish, and Elasticsearch skills.

● AWS services expertise. 

● Monitoring tools: Zabbix, CloudWatch. 

● Backup, disaster recovery, and server optimization. 

● SLA-driven troubleshooting. 

● Good communication skills 

Education & Experience: 

● Bachelor’s in CS/IT or related. 

● 1 to 5 years of experience in managing infrastructure for eCommerce environments.
