Overview
Job Description:
Join the NPI test development team to design and review schematic and layout of pcb board supporting burn in and ATE production for semiconductor devices. Work includes ATE DUT boards, burn-in board and probe card support.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop ATE board spec for production and characterization testing.
- Design burn-in board spec for reliability stress testing for device qualification.
- Design probe card spec for wafer-level probing.
- Review schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs and sockets.
- Review signal integrity and power simulation results.
Requirements/Qualifications
Ideal Candidate — Fresh Graduate (Required / Desired)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or related engineering field.
- PCB Design (basic): Familiarity with schematic capture & PCB layout tools (Allegro, Altium etc.).
- Electronics Fundamentals: Strong understanding of analog/digital circuits, power rails, decoupling and basic signal integrity.
- Scripting & Tools: Comfortable with simple scripting (Python,Perl,Microsoft office).
- Problem Solving: Methodical debugging approach, attention to detail and strong troubleshooting skills.
- Communication & Teamwork: Clear written and verbal communication and ability to work with cross functional team.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Coursework or projects involving high-speed design, signal integrity or mixed-signal systems.
- Internship experience in test engineering, ATE or PCB design.
- Familiarity with SPICE simulations, impedance control and layout best practices.
- Basic knowledge of JTAG, DUT fixturing, probe cards and burn-in concepts is a plus.
