Job Description

Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for enterprise applications.
Conduct AS400 system testing, ensuring data accuracy and business logic alignment.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify, reproduce, and resolve issues.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test scripts, and documentation following project standards.
Review software requirements and provide feedback to ensure clear understanding of test coverage.
Use SQL queries to validate data and perform backend testing on MSSQL or Oracle databases.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives).
Support continuous improvement by recommending process and tool enhancements.
Contribute to maintaining a structured SDLC testing and release methodology.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of formal testing experience in a structured working environment.
Hands-on experience with manual testing and/or test automation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good SQL skills to interrogate relational databases (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Experience working within a formal SDLC, using structured testing and release methodologies.
Familiar with Agile frameworks (Scrum, BDD, User Stories).
Exposure to test automation tools and principles such as QTP, LoadRunner, or similar.
Prior experience in the financial/banking sector is highly desirable.
Able to communicate using English.
