Cloud Solutions Architect

Purpose: Multi-Cloud Solutions Architect will be working with our customers to deliver Multi-Cloud Technical Solutions to internal and external customers.

You will deliver hands-on, business-oriented and technical expertise to our customers for cloud infrastructure, automation solutions and solutions delivery.

Mission and main activities:

• Collaborate with the presales and sales teams to identify additional revenue.
• Collaborate with the presales and sales teams to boost their knowledge and awareness.
• Contribute to RFP technical and solution responses.
• Technically support presales to close deals utilizing your knowledge on solutions
• Provide customer facing expertise on multiple platforms and services e.g (VMware, Open stack, AWS, Azure, Google)
• Provide customer facing expertise on infrastructure services, network, security and virtualisation.
• Advise and improve cloud platform infrastructure and ability to configure auto-scaling, terraform, ansible etc…
• Assessment and auditing of customer environments and provide consultancy for improvements and remediation.
• Suggest ways to improve and reduce Cloud operational costs.
• Work with Product Owners and SMEs to assist in the development of new solutions or products.
• Provide technical leadership in provisioning and maintaining a multi-tenant hybrid cloud infrastructure.
• Cloud migrations - audit, migrate and perform post migration analysis where required.
• Compose, publish and manage IT documentation.
• Participation in disaster recovery solution design, implementation and testing.

Technical and soft skills:

• Deep understanding of cloud computing and data technologies, business drivers, emerging computing trends, and deployment options (Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP).
• Extensive hands-on experience using Cloud services: Security, Networking, Windows/Linux, Virtual Machines, Data Analytics, Container, Storage, ELB, Auto Scaling and Analytics Service.
• Expert in defining, designing and developing distributed and scalable products and services, including reusable domain-specific microservices on multi-platform /hybrid clouds (such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware or OpenStack).
• Good understanding of Application, Infrastructure and security and non-functional aspects like Performance, Scalability, Reliability, Availability etc
• Working awareness of Linux/Unix environments and scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Shell.
• Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines i.e., implement initiatives to minimize chances of failure, identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.
• Experience in designing and building data factories and data lakes.
• Demonstrate strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills by leveraging the latest trends in technologies such as Cloud and Big Data.
• Handle ambiguity and able to move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a rapidly changing environment.
• End to end delivery of solutions from requirements gathering, design, configuration and handover.
• Collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
• Must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are challenged.
• Should possess good product instinct and excellent project management skills to push projects over the finish line with sound planning and persistent execution.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to contribute to Enterprise Architecture discussions and alignment of process with business goals.
• Excellent communication skills and team working.

Your profile:

• Experience in customer facing hands on technical delivery of cloud (Network, Security, Analytics, Data, Open stack, Azure, AWS, Google). Experience in Multi-Cloud deliverables with a proven record.
• Bringing your extensive experience in IT Infrastructure engineering and supporting cloud based infrastructure and your knowledge of Landing Zones, scripts, networking, security and multi-cloud best practise.

Travel: As required to customers and internally.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Master of Computer Applications
• Cloud accreditation on any or all AWS, Azure and Google
• Enterprise Architecture
• Agile and Scrum awareness
• Customer technical facing experience.
