We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team, working on an eCommerce project for a client based in Australia. In this role, you will collaborate closely with software engineers to ensure the quality of web applications, with a strong focus on UI and end-to-end testing. You'll be involved in planning and implementing test strategies, designing and developing test scenarios, and executing automated and manual tests. Your attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help identify and resolve issues to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering roles, with a strong focus on Web/UI testing
Solid experience in test automation using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Node.js
Hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks such as Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or similar tools
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and tools.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams
Fluent in English (written and spoken)

What You’ll Be Doing:

Collaborate closely with software engineers to define, implement, and improve test strategies for web applications
Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for UI and end-to-end testing
Build and maintain robust automated test suites using Playwright
Validate web application functionality across browsers, devices, and screen sizes (cross-browser and responsive testing)
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to ensure continuous quality
Work with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage
Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira with clear and actionable reports
Set up, manage, and maintain test environments that closely mirror production environments
Promote best practices in quality assurance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Helping recruit and mentor engineers for our growing team in Vietnam.

Compensation

The maximum monthly gross salary for this position is 70 million VND. Final offers will be based on experience and alignment with the role's requirements.
