We are looking for an Principal Data Scientist to join our Planning Agent team. This focused engagement is 100% dedicated to the development and launch of the Planning Agent. The ideal candidate should possess product-level development expertise in GenAI-powered solutions and will be responsible for consulting and providing recommendations on building world-class, scaled Agentic AI.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Product Enhancement & Strategy: Collaborate with the development team to enhance the usability and technical capability of the Planning Agent in alignment with the overall product requirement. Identify and qualify technical business opportunities, address key technical objections, and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers.
Technical AI Leadership: Provide agentic AI expertise to support the technical development of MiQ's Planning Agent product. Design detailed technical requirements, create compelling demos and proof-of-concept work, and partner with Product to prioritise and implement optimal technical solutions.
Architecture & Integration: Lead and design integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure necessary to implement a unified and seamless user experience across various MiQ products.
Scaling & Orchestration: Lead and drive the technical implementation of the Planning Agent's orchestration framework, respective data model integration, and the overall strategy for scaling the solution from MVP to a robust production system.
Core Development Initiatives: Lead the technical development and integration of advanced features such as Knowledge Graphs, guided prompting techniques, and TAU integration to enhance the agent's capabilities.
Performance Optimisation: Provide technical expertise to enhance the overall efficiency, speed and relevancy of the Planning Agent's response, ensuring structured output aligned with specific business contexts.

Who are your stakeholders?

Internal Consumer/Stakeholders

End Users (Account Managers / Traders / Sales / Analysts): Gather insights into business challenges and user feedback to propose solutions and features for enhanced user experience.
Development Team: Collaborate with Technology Managers to foster technical excellence in product development, ensuring the creation of robust, proven, scalable, data science-driven, and high-impact solutions.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
10 years of hands-on work experience in data science modelling to solve product or business problems.
Experience translating product and business questions into clearly framed investigative projects, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
Ability to present to business leaders and communicate effectively with highly technical leadership teams.
Understanding of AI Models, Large Language Models, and AI specialized infrastructure especially as it relates to AI trends and enablers within businesses.
Candidates with the ability to set-up and ensure continuous improvement of MLOps & CI/CD processes will be preferred.
Experience in the advertising or ad-tech industry will be a plus.
