Job Responsibilities

Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performing solutions that address complex business challenges. You will work closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and business leaders to define solution architectures that align with organizational goals and technology strategies. Your expertise will ensure that our solutions are innovative, efficient, and future-proof
Partners with intragroup and 3rd-party providers to deliver resilient applications services to MHBKSG and other business and functional units that MHBKSG supports

[Project Planning and Delivery – 35%]

Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into comprehensive solution architectures
Develop architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation to communicate proposed solutions
Oversee solution implementation and integration with existing systems
Troubleshoot and resolve architectural and integration issues

[Strategic Planning – 25%]

Design end-to-end solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and organizational goals
Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and frameworks to meet project and organizational needs
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve solution design

[Managerial Excellence – 20%]

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the solution development lifecycle
Ensure solutions adhere to security, compliance, and performance standards
Participate in code and design reviews to ensure architectural integrity and best practices

[Relationships and Communication – 20%]

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Build strong relationships with stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams
Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery

Job Requirements

Education

Tertiary degree in technology or equivalent in Computer Engineering from a recognized educational institution

Experience

At least 8 years of Application Service delivery / development experience and
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Solution Architect in banking domain
Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and scalable architectures
Plus: Experience with Cloud platform
Plus: Certified Enterprise Architect

Skills

Strong understanding of software architecture patterns and integration methodologies.
Proficiency in system design, API design, and data modeling.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to balance business needs with technical constraints and deliver pragmatic solutions.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
