Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Azure Security Engineer to lead and strengthen cloud security across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments. This role focuses on establishing security frameworks, protecting enterprise data, and enabling secure adoption of advanced Azure services such as AI, Kubernetes, and modern workplace solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and enforce Azure and Microsoft 365 security policies and governance frameworks
• Manage and optimize Azure security services (Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Key Vault, Firewall, RBAC)
• Secure advanced Azure services including Azure AI, Cognitive Search, Document Intelligence, and AKS
• Implement Microsoft 365 security controls (DLP, MFA, Conditional Access, Insider Risk Management)
• Monitor, detect, and respond to security threats across cloud environments
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
• Automate security governance using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform
• Manage identity and access controls using Entra ID (Azure AD) and privileged identity management
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and industry frameworks
  
  

Must-Have Qualifications

• 7–14 years of experience in IT with strong focus on cloud security
• Minimum 5+ years in cloud security and 3+ years in Azure/Microsoft 365 security
• Hands-on expertise in Microsoft Azure security and O365 environments
• Strong knowledge of Entra ID (Azure AD), RBAC, and conditional access policies
• Experience securing Azure AI, AKS, or advanced cloud workloads
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Defender suite, DLP, and identity protection
• Experience in incident response and cloud security remediation
• Strong stakeholder communication and problem-solving skills
