Purpose

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and delivering high-quality software

solutions that support our product and business goals. You’ll work as part of a cross-functional Scrum team,

while also collaborating across teams and Solution Architects to ensure technical consistency and scalable

design.

Your responsibilities span the entire software development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and

designing solutions to writing, reviewing, and deploying code. You’ll contribute to maintaining high

standards of code quality through regular code reviews, shared ownership, and close collaboration with

your peers.

You will also play a key role in shaping the future of our products. Your technical expertise, problem-solving

skills, and commitment to excellence will help ensure we build the right solutions—effective, reliable, and

aligned with our long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities

Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code, and conduct thorough code reviews to

ensure high standards of quality, readability, and consistency across the codebase.

Apply an iterative development approach, refining solutions over time based on feedback and

results.

Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, and apply relevant

insights to promote technical excellence and innovation within the team.

Navigate uncertainty and ambiguity with a growth mindset—experimenting, adapting, and learning

from challenges and outcomes.

Analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and propose practical and creative

solutions that deliver clear value to our users and business.

Evaluate the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provide input on alternative approaches

or technologies to ensure optimal outcomes.

Experience & Skills

Have 8+ years of experience as a developer in general
Experience working on a monolithic solution
Have a solid foundation as a Java developer
Have experience with Spring Boot
Care about writing beautiful and well-structured, correct and testable code
Knowledge in DevOps using Docker, Terraform and Kubernetes is a plus
Work well with others and have an Agile mindset
Have good communication skills, including a strong command of the English language
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently and in a collaborative team environment
Experience with Amazon Web Services and troubleshooting server-related issues in AWS

environments

Strong organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise deadlines in a fast-paced

environment

Pro-active and eager to learn both independently and from experienced colleagues

Working conditions

This is a remote position with flexible working hours, allowing you to coordinate effectively with your team

while managing your own schedule.

You’ll work in a collaborative, distributed environment where autonomy and proactive communication are

key. While the role doesn’t require fixed office hours, some overlap with team members is expected to

ensure smooth collaboration.

This position offers the flexibility to balance independent work with active participation in a cross-functional

engineering team that values transparency, trust, and ownership.
