Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and technical teams to ensure reliable, high-quality data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
• Build and optimize data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, reliability, and availability
• Perform data modelling to support reporting and analytical requirements
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability
• Implement data quality checks, validation, and governance standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL and relational databases
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration frameworks
• Solid understanding of data modelling and data warehousing concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

Technical Skills (Preferred)

• Programming experience in Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g. Spark, Kafka, Hadoop)
• Exposure to data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git)
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
