The Consultant is responsible to gather, analyse, and formalise user business requirements and processes, evaluate feasibility of implementation, and manage project scope. The role also involves preparing documentation, developing technical designs, coding, testing, training, and providing post-implementation support to ensure effective delivery of solutions.

What will you do?

• Gather, analyse, and formalise user business requirements and processes
• Evaluate feasibility of implementation and manage project scope
• Prepare requirement and use case specifications and update traceability matrix
• Record and manage out-of-scope issues during project execution
• Develop technical design specifications and translate into process or program specifications
• Participate in design review sessions and configuration management
• Make changes to configurable items including hardware, software, and documentation
• Conduct coding and code reviews to ensure compliance with standards
• Assist in integration testing, system testing, UAT, and implementation activities
• Prepare user manuals and operations manuals and facilitate user training
• Provide post-implementation and production support including service requests
• Escalate and discuss critical issues such as scope creep with managers
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions and perform gap analysis of business processes
  
  

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent
• 5–7 years IT working experience
• Relevant system development and maintenance experience using Java-related technologies
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes
• Ability to produce specifications for documentation and implementations
• Experience in IT business analysis techniques

Professional and/or Technical Certifications

• IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Preferred or Relevant professional certifications in business analysis, system analysis, or consulting are advantageous but not mandatory.
• ITIL Foundation (basic understanding of IT service management)
