Job Title: Network & Cloud Penetration Tester

Requirements Of This Role

■Perform network and cloud security testing for connected vehicle backend systems and telematics platforms.

■Conduct network assessments including port scanning, service enumeration and exploitation, firewall rule review, and network traffic analysis.

■Test vehicle-to-cloud communication and backend APIs using protocols such as HTTP/HTTPS, MQTT, and WebSocket.

■Review cloud infrastructure (e.g., VPC, API Gateway, ECS/Fargate, AWS Lambda) for security misconfigurations.

■Assess security of databases and storage services such as RDS (MySQL), MongoDB, and S3.

■Evaluate caching and streaming services like ElastiCache (Redis) and Kinesis for proper access control and secure configuration.

■Review IAM roles, Secrets Manager, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch to ensure proper access management, logging, and monitoring.

Qualification

■Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science or related field.

■3-5 years of experience in Network & Cloud Pentesting.

■Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and WebSocket.

■Experience with network penetration testing and security assessment tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, and Metasploit, Nessus.

■Good understanding of cloud security concepts, preferably in AWS (VPC, IAM, API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/Fargate).

■Familiarity with common vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and remediation practices in network & Cloud.

■Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or similar) is a plus.

■Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
