Junior Engineer, Product Management

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join our product team to ensure and improve customer satisfaction through the production of quality products. Junior Engineer will focus on delivering incremental value by driving product changes and working closely with a team of developers, engineers, and business partners. They support in-depth business reviews, communicate and present across all levels of the organization, and support cross-functional product teams. Junior Engineer will be able to:

Track customer issues, new features requests and customized configurations, ensure engineers are working on resolution, and customer bugs belong to a release bucket.
Give products demonstrations and training to potential customers and product resellers.
Conduct prototype testing for products new enhancements and evaluate new features.
Work with marketing team on products’ technical material such as videos, datasheets, graphics etc.
Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources.
Coordinates contact with customers for project planning and discussions.
Determining improvements to product features.
Coordinating customer requirements with stakeholders and various teams and aligning the requirements with business goals.
Determine which tasks are dependent on other tasks and develop critical path.

Requirements and Skills:

Must have 2 years’ work experience in product management or as an associate product manager.
Must have the ability to write code and scripts using Python and UNIX shell
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and software lifecycle
Ability to report to the Product Manager and collaborate with the product development team.
Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization.
MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
