Job Description
IT Advancement & Design (ITA) comprises further development of information technologies and IT platforms for business solutions and services. Covers driving of proactive needs analysis ensuring that business needs, demands and challenges are well understood, and that business execution plans and capabilities are delivered on time and within budget. Contains management of demands and priorities while assuring alignment with the corporate strategy and budget. Comprises optimisation, harmonisation, and implementation of Nokia's IT environment and systems by providing area specific knowledge. Covers representation of the whole IT organisation to global or regional business stakeholders and user communities. Works closely with the different service providers that are part of the IT eco-system, governs their performance, and acts as main interface between IT and the business including incident escalations. Comprises identification of opportunities for process and concept development as well as improvements. Covers planning and managing of the development, testing, and implementation of process / concept improvements and system changes at own responsibility area. Contains translation of requirements into system terminology and functionality as well as the delivery of process and system end-user training.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Translate solution architecture into implementable software designs, selecting appropriate technologies and platforms and ensuring alignment with architectural intent.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable cloud‑based solutions, integrating structured and unstructured data sources and enabling data automation and visualization.
- Act as a hands‑on technical expert, coding, configuring, and delivering robust software solutions using standard and AI technologies.
- Analyze requirements and ideas for technical feasibility, provide reliable technical estimates and solution proposals to support cost/benefit and program decisions.
- Ensure solution quality and architectural compliance, validating builds and releases, performing testing (automated and manual), and mitigating technical risks.
- Work within Agile / PM frameworks, actively contributing to sprints, integrations, provisioning activities, and reporting delivery progress.
- Troubleshoot complex systems and provide production support, resolving issues in existing solutions, especially during and immediately after go‑live.
- Provide technical leadership and documentation, contributing to PoCs, pilots, and prototypes, preparing technical documentation, and advising projects on technological trends and best practices.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- University degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
- 6+ years of professional experience as a Full‑Stack Developer, with advanced proficiency across backend and frontend technologies
- Expertise on: Javascript, Angular, NodeJS, REST API, Linux OS.
- Solid experience working with AWS cloud
- Applies advanced coding practices, ensuring scalable, maintainable, and high‑quality software
It would be nice if you also had:
- Understanding of Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Experience Platform (LXP)
- Power Platform knowledge is an advantage
- Familiarity with Azure and GCP cloud
