What You'll Do:

• Design & optimize data models for Cosmos DB & SQL
• Manage data performance, indexing, partitioning & throughput
• Operate & improve ETL/ELT pipelines (Cosmos & SQL)
• Implement data quality checks, monitoring & validation
• Manage backup, recovery, scaling & retention policies
• Secure data access using RBAC, managed identities & Key Vault
• Support application teams with query tuning & data modelling
• Ensure reliability & health of data platforms

What We're Looking for?

• Deep understanding of Azure Cosmos DB (partitioning, indexing, RU optimization)
• Strong SQL, T SQL & relational schema design
• ETL/ADF pipelines & transformation logic
• Data performance tuning & monitoring
• Secure data patterns: managed identities, secret less access
• Knowledge of serverless & event driven architecture impacts on data
• Ability to troubleshoot data ingestion & transformation issues
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
