About the role...

As a Senior Product Manager – Production Scheduling Solver, you’ll play a key role in shaping and evolving o9’s production scheduling capabilities. You’ll act as the bridge between customers, engineering, UX, QA, and other stakeholders, ensuring our solutions solve real business challenges in the most efficient way.

What you’ll do for us…

• Understand the market trends, competitive landscape carefully and with the in-depth understanding of our existing product, chalk out the product vision and prioritize the new features and requirements
• Act as a domain expert and advocate/implements the best practices with the development team
• Understand the individual customer requirements carefully and create the Functional specifications, Use cases, mock-ups and other documents required for the development team to get going. Explain functional requirements to the development team
• Make sure that the solution that is designed and developed effectively meets the business objectives of the end users
• Validate/test the newly developed features and their impact on existing features. Demonstrate these new features to key stakeholders and get their feedback
• Work with UX team to create a pleasant user experience
• Act as the functional ‘Go-to’ person for the QA team
• Act as the hub of the stakeholders for the application, interfacing with the customers,sales, consulting and development teams
• Provide product training to internal and external departments
• Act as an SME and reviews the training material and product documentation
• Help the sales and pre-sales teams to support RFPs, RFQs, ongoing implementations andcustomer demos (preparation / delivery)
• As SME, act as the first respondent for any functional queries / issues from internal /external teams
• Design and evaluate production scheduling algorithms, understand their usage, trade-offs, and performance implications to ensure robust scheduling solutions.
• Leverage deep hands-on experience in production scheduling to propose, improve, and validate innovative scheduling techniques

What you’ll have...

• Experience: 8+ years as a product manager
• 5+ years of hardcore production scheduling experience. Must not only have implemented scheduling solutions but also have a strong understanding of scheduling algorithms, their applications, and techniques.
• Experience working within Cloud, SaaS, any enterprise supply planning solutions will be an added advantage
• Education: Full Time Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering or master’s in business administration
• Skills: Excellent understanding of the Supply chain planning and scheduling domain
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Characteristics:
• A good leader who can communicate the project plans and status of projects effectively
• A self-motivated person who can work calmly under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills, with proven ability to take initiatives

• There will be 2 rounds of technical discussion followed by a Managerial round.
