BACKEND MOLD PROCESS ENGINEER

Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide process engineering support for manufacturing line and responsible for improving and maintaining equipment efficiency which lead to quality and yield improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform molding equipment maintenance, molding process and improvements which are to be attained through practical use of statistical tool methods, data extraction and analysis.
• To conduct machine life span studies and equipment maintenance cost reduction.
• Ownership on operational indicators such as safety, machine OEE,UPH, MTBA line yield and machine defect reduction.
• Budgeting, capital planning and capacity installation.
• Support process and engineering development for NPI.
• To drive equipment improvement and efficiencies
• Other duties as assigned.
• Good understanding in local applicable laws, any regulations or procedures, standards/codes/internal control and ensure
  
  

compliance in the work area.

• Encourage workers and or to report any kind of violations relating to labor, ethics and EHS.
  
  

Qualification And Experience

• Degree in Engineering or Science
• Preferably with experience
  
  

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities / Behavior

• Able to work in a team environment is essential.
• Able to gather, organize and analyze information/data
• Able to plan and execute plans effectively.
• Able to meet budgetary requirements.
• Highly independent and ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
• Possess sound analytical and goal setting skills
• Able to lead team to improve machines efficiencies and reduction of machine cost maintenance
• Experience in utilizing the 3D modeling software for creation of design concepts
