GCP Data Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking a Databricks Data engineer with AWS experience.

• Location: All Persistent Location
• Experience: 5 to 10 Years
• Job Type: Full Time Employment

What You'll Do:

• Build modular dbt models (staging, intermediate, marts, snapshots).
• Implement dbt tests (unique, not_null, relationships) and custom test logic.
• Maintain documentation, lineage, and model governance within dbt. Integrate dbt into CI/CD workflows.
• Develop pipelines and job orchestrations for ingestion and transformation.
• Implement job scheduling, parameterization, variables, error handling, and monitoring.
• Integrate Matillion with GCS, BigQuery, APIs, and third‑party ingestion tools.
• Work with clinical datasets such as: EHR/EMR, EDC/CTMS, Claims, Lab/Biomarkers, AE/SAE, RWE.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Support mapping and harmonization to standards such as: CDISC (SDTM/ADaM)
• OMOP,
• Understand key clinical data concepts (subjects, visits, lab results, events, outcomes).
• Experience building dbt models and tests (Core/Cloud).
• Hands-on experience with Matillion ETL for orchestration and job development.
• Good understanding of Clinical Data Warehouse concepts and data structures.
• Strong SQL skills (joins, window functions, optimization).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and cloud-native best practices."
