About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Python & Azure AI Engineer to build cloud-native, serverless, and AI-powered solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure integration services, Azure AI (Cognitive Search), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts to deliver intelligent, scalable applications.

What You'll Do:

Design and develop backend services and APIs using Python.
Build and manage cloud-native solutions using Azure Services, including: Azure API Management (APIM) Azure Functions.
Develop intelligent search and retrieval solutions using Azure AI Services – Cognitive Search Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns for AI-driven applications.
Work with document processing pipelines using Document Intelligence (basic exposure) Integrate AI services with backend systems and frontend consumers.
Design and consume REST APIs through APIM Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability of solutions.
Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and product teams.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support Prepare technical documentation and solution designs

Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong hands-on experience with Python Experience with Azure API Management (APIM). Hands-on development using Azure Functions Experience with Azure AI Services, especially: Cognitive Search Basic.
Understanding of Azure Document Intelligence.
Sound knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts and implementations
Understanding of REST APIs and cloud integration patterns.
Good to Have Skills Experience integrating LLMs with Azure services.
Exposure to vector databases and embeddings.
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) or Azure DevOps pipelines.
Experience in AI/ML-powered application development Frontend exposure (Angular/React) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
