About Position:
We are looking for an Advanced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Development Lead to architect, build, and optimize complex multi-channel automation, personalization, and integration solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role involving solution engineering, dev standards, code reviews, platform integration, performance tuning, and governance. You will lead a team of SFMC developers/engineers and collaborate with architects, product managers, data teams, and marketing stakeholders to deliver high-performing journeys, automations, personalization experiences, and data-driven campaigns across email, SMS, push notifications, and real-time triggers.

What You'll Do:
- Architect, design, and deliver end?to?end Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, Mobile Connect, Mobile Push, Cloud Pages, Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio), and Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama).
- Lead the technical design of scalable contact models, subscriber architectures, send classifications, and attribute group frameworks aligned with enterprise data strategies.
- Design and implement event?driven and real?time personalization solutions using Journey Entry Events, Journey APIs, Event Notification Services, and Data Cloud triggers.
- Lead hands?on development using advanced AMPscript, Server?Side JavaScript (SSJS), REST/SOAP APIs, and complex SQL for segmentation, transformations, and automation workflows.
- Build Cloud Pages applications, custom preference and consent management centers, reusable SFMC libraries, utilities, and coding frameworks.
- Develop and manage custom?triggered email and multi?channel messaging solutions through API?based integrations.
- Architect and oversee integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Data Cloud (CDP), enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks), and middleware platforms such as MuleSoft.
- Define and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines, contact ingestion patterns, send log data models, and automation feeds to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure platform governance, performance tuning, and Git?based version?control practices.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers and engineers while collaborating with architects, product managers, data teams, and marketing stakeholders.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 8-12 years of relevant experience in Salesforce.
- Experience designing and delivering complex, enterprise?scale Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations.
- Expertise across Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, MobileConnect, MobilePush, CloudPages, Marketing Cloud Personalization (Interaction Studio), and Marketing Cloud Intelligence.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, Server?Side JavaScript (SSJS), SQL, and API?based integrations for automation and real?time campaign execution.
- Proven experience designing and implementing event?driven and real?time personalization architectures.
- Solid background in integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce core clouds, Data Cloud/CDP, enterprise data warehouses, and external systems using middleware or APIs.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, contact ingestion strategies, sending log structures, and marketing data governance.
- Demonstrated ability to establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and manage deployments using Git or similar version?control tools.
- Experience leading technical teams and working closely with cross?functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications and experience in large enterprise or consulting environments are highly preferred.
