Job Description

About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Databricks, PySpark, Snowflake, and Data Warehousing (DWH) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ETL/ELT frameworks, big data processing, and cloud-based data platforms.

What You'll Do:

Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark and Databricks
Build and manage Data Warehousing solutions using Snowflake
Develop scalable and reliable batch and incremental data pipelines
Perform data ingestion from multiple structured and semi-structured sources
Optimize Spark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

Expertise You'll Bring:

Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and PySpark
Solid understanding of Snowflake architecture, including:
Snowflake SQL
Performance tuning
Warehouses, schemas, and data sharing
Strong experience in Data Warehousing concepts:
Star / Snowflake schema
Fact & Dimension tables
Experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines
Proficient in SQL (advanced queries, optimization)
Strong understanding of big data ecosystems
Experience with scheduling/orchestration tools (Airflow, ADF, or similar)
Knowledge of data partitioning, indexing, and optimization
Familiarity with version control tools (Git)
