Senior Data Analyst

Job Purpose or Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst who thrives on turning complex data into actionable strategies. In this role, you will represent for retail on commercial planning and stock management initiatives, ensuring accurate forecasts, optimized promotions, and efficient inventory control.

Main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with trading, retail, and finance teams to align promotional schemes, incentive allocations, and stock strategies with business objectives.
• Manage stock planning and control, ensuring optimal inventory levels, reducing out-of-stock and expired risks, and supporting assortment decisions.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to deliver timely, accurate insights for management and cross-functional teams.
• Identify and resolve performance gaps through root-cause analysis of margin drops, slow-moving items, and stock inefficiencies.
• Drive process improvements in forecasting accuracy, SOP compliance, and reporting efficiency to enhance operational performance.
• Mentor and guide analysts, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Pharmaceutical, Supply Chain or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, commercial planning, or inventory management within retail or FMCG.
• Intermediate level in English.
• Strong analytical skills in Excel and SQL (Proficiency in Python is a good plus).
• Ability to analyze problems and propose solutions.
• Solid organizational skills include attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Leadership mindset with proven ability to manage and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
