Software Architect – Full‑Stack (C# / .NET Core)
Role Overview
We are seeking a
backend‑strong, hands‑on Software Architect to drive the design, development, and delivery of a
cloud‑native product.
This role is critical to strengthening architectural rigor, technical decision‑making, and code quality for a product under active development.
This is
not a frontend‑only role. The successful candidate will be a
Full‑Stack Architect with deep backend expertise, capable of leading architecture, mentoring engineers, and owning technical outcomes end‑to‑end.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high‑performance backend systems using C# /.NET Core and microservices architecture
- Take architectural ownership of the product, including design decisions, technology choices, and technical roadmaps
- Lead code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and ensure high standards of code quality
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to deliver business‑critical features
- Support frontend integration using Angular or React (TypeScript) where required (hands‑on contribution is a plus)
- Drive cloud‑native development practices and ensure reliability, scalability, and security of the platform
- Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical leadership across the team
- Own delivery readiness, including release quality, performance, and maintainability
Must‑Have Technical Skills (Core)
- Strong C# backend development experience with .NET Core
- Proven experience designing and building microservices‑based architecture
- Expertise in backend design patterns, APIs, and integration strategies
- Solid understanding of cloud‑native application design
- Hands‑on development experience (this is not a purely conceptual role)
- Frontend experience using Angular OR React (TypeScript preferred)
Nice‑to‑Have Skills (Good To Have)
- Database Experience. SQL Server
- Cloud experience with AWS (Azure experience is also acceptable)
- Exposure to modern DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization
- Experience in product‑led engineering environments
- Note: Frontend expertise is not mandatory; backend architectural depth is the priority.
Ideal Profile
- Strong product engineering mindset (experience in product development environments preferred)
- Comfortable balancing architecture ownership with hands‑on coding
- Able to drive clarity in ambiguous problem spaces and simplify complex technical requirements
- Passionate about design quality, clean code, and long‑term maintainability
