Senior Data Scientist

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist to build and scale next-generation voice bot / conversational AI systems. You will work on real-world problems involving speech recognition, natural language understanding, LLMs, and real-time AI pipelines. This role is highly hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys building production-grade AI systems, not just experimentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end voice bot systems (VAD → STT → LLM → TTS pipelines)
• Build and optimize real-time conversational AI systems
• Work with streaming ASR (speech-to-text) and TTS systems
• Develop and fine-tune LLM-based workflows for dialogue management
• Improve latency, accuracy, and scalability of AI systems
• Handle audio data processing, feature extraction, and model integration
• Collaborate with backend teams to deploy models via APIs / WebSockets
• Monitor and improve production systems using metrics and feedback loops
• Experiment with new models (ASR, LLMs, speaker verification, etc.)

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Data Science / Machine Learning
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Hands-on experience with:
• NLP / Speech / Audio ML systems
• LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, open-source models, etc.)
• Deep learning frameworks (PyTorch / TensorFlow)
• Experience with real-time systems / streaming pipelines
• Good understanding of:
• ASR / TTS systems
• Model deployment (FastAPI, Docker, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)

Good to Have

• Experience with voice bots / call center AI / telephony systems
• Knowledge of VAD, diarization, speaker verification
• Experience with WebRTC / WebSockets / audio streaming
• Exposure to low-latency system design
• Experience with vLLM or LLM serving frameworks
