Software Test Engineer

PB Health (https://www.pbhealth.com/), a subsidiary of PB Fintech, which is creating an integrated healthcare platform to connect patients, healthcare providers and insurers. The platform aims to simplify the healthcare experience, reduce paperwork, and improve access to care and insurance benefits using Advanced AI Technologies. PB Healthcare is also expanding its hospital network, starting with a 1,000-bed facility in the National Capital Region (NCR), and has raised $218 million to accelerate growth and innovation.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Software Test Engineer with 2+ years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands-on automation experience, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure product excellence and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform UI Testing, Automated Testing, and apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) strategies.
• Conduct API testing using REST Assured and validate backend services.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using QA tools and processes.
• Work with SQL queries for database validation and data integrity testing.
• Conduct web security testing and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure quality delivery.
• Contribute to automation framework enhancements using Selenium and Appium.
• Ensure timely test execution and high-quality releases.
• Take ownership of testing deliverables and continuously improve testing processes.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years as a Software Tester / QA Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, API Testing, REST Assured, Selenium, Appium
• Experience with Java, HTML5, DB2, XML
• Experience in web security technologies.
• Familiarity with QA tools and testing methodologies.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
