As we prepare for 1.5x growth next year, we are looking for SDE-2s who are more than just "feature shippers"—we need system builders.

About the Role

As an SDE-2, you are a core builder of production systems at scale. You won’t just execute tasks; you will own durable, reliable components that power millions of transactions.

Responsibilities

Design & Build: Independently drive Low-Level Design (LLD) and contribute to High-Level Design (HLD) for scalable distributed systems.
End-to-End Ownership: Take technical accountability for services from initial design to production and long-term operational excellence.
Engineering Excellence: Write modular, extensible, and production-ready code while raising the bar in code reviews.
AI-Integrated Workflows: Use AI tools responsibly to accelerate development without using them as a "crutch."
Mentorship: Act as a pillar for your pod by mentoring SDE-1s and influencing code quality.

Qualifications

Experience: 2–5 years of software development experience, ideally in fast-paced startups or scale-ups.

Required Skills

Technical Depth: Strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
Scale Mindset: Familiarity with modern backend stacks, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
Ops Savvy: Solid understanding of monitoring, alerting, reliability, and performance tuning.
First-Principles Thinking: You break complex problems down to fundamentals rather than just pattern-matching solutions.
