Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation QA Engineer to strengthen our Quality Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites, along with executing manual testing to ensure high-quality product releases.

You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to identify gaps, validate features, and continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and backend systems
• Create clear, detailed, and comprehensive manual test cases based on functional requirements
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and performance testing as required
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to refine requirements and ensure adequate test coverage
• Improve QA processes, testing frameworks, and best practices
• Ensure timely execution of test cycles aligned with release schedules
• Maintain test documentation, test data, and automation frameworks

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of experience in QA automation and manual testing
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
• Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured)
• Solid knowledge of test case design techniques and defect management
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (preferably Git)
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in testing microservices and cloud-based applications
• Exposure to performance testing tools
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript
