/6G and AI technologies, we are expanding the System Level Test group. The System Level Test group is responsible for characterizing system performance for Qualcomm’s leading-edge Snapdragon products manufactured using the most advanced processes technologies. In this role you will be member of a team working on IC design reviews, IC hardware testing, software, system engineering, and customer applications. Responsibilities include working with engineering teams from early-stage silicon bring-up to post-silicon validation efforts, collaborating with software teams to evaluate integrated system performance, testing and characterizing hardware/software interactions, evaluating device performance across various operating conditions (voltage, process and thermal) and working with the production test teams to develop effective production screens for system level issues. The individual selected for this position should be proactive, capable of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, enthusiastic about contributing both independently and within a team, and passionate about delivering high quality work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Module / System in Package (SiP) / Board product testing in New Product Introduction (NPI) or High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM). Experience with server product is a plus.
- Experience using electrical and system-level measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, wireless network simulators.
- Experience or familiarity with one or more of the following areas is a plus,
- Characterizing high speed interfaces (HDMI, WiFi, PCIE, SATA, HSUSB)
- CMOS digital and Mixed Signal circuits such as ADC, DAC, PLL, Codecs.
- Experience in C#, .NET Framework, C/C++, Perl/Python is a plus.
- Working knowledge of system level performance benchmarks and stress tests (e.g. like Dhrystone, AnTuTu, Monkey Test)
- Hands-on experience on module testing, PCB-level debugs, SMT-related issues.
- Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and layout files.
- Experience using source control systems such as Perforce, GIT, or equivalent tools.
- The candidate is expected to be self-driven to quickly get up to speed on various aspects of test developments & flexible to take up tasks as per the project needs.
- Demonstrated ability to independently ramp up on test development and validation activities, with flexibility to support evolving project needs.
- Strong learning agility with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional engineering environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or related field.
- 4-8 years of hands-on experience in System / SW / bench test / HW-SW interaction test, preferably in the mobile devices/microprocessor industry.
- Experience with characterizing Processors, PCIE, Graphics, Memory, Thermal and Power performance of ASICs.
- Experience developing and executing test cases for Android-based devices.
- Experience with production testing environments, including Gauge R&R, shop-floor support and handling OSATS.
- Experience analyzing specifications and developing test plans, test cases and executing system-level validation.
- Hands-on debug and triage experience using Android debugging tools and/or using JTAG Lauterbach/Trace32 is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Android Architecture, Android Boot process, Kernel, Core BSP and Android Performance is required.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills with the ability to debug system-level failures and identify effective technical solutions
- Good system level understanding of the HW platforms having various peripherals like PCIE, DDR, UFS, USB, Display, Camera, Power management ICs.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
