General Summary

Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing; and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in the area of automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

OR

Bachelor’s degree in a non-technical field (e.g., Business, Humanities, Marketing) and 1+ year of IT-relevant work experience.

OR

High School diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of IT-relevant work experience.

Improve the production line controlling system to achieve more reasonable, more efficient, and lower‑cost outcomes for business interests.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new and ongoing IT projects related to Equipment Integration (EI) software and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software in a global production environment, including Munich, Singapore, Wuxi, and Deutschlandsberg.
Support local and global development groups in implementing business requirements for new and existing software projects by applying state‑of‑the‑art coding standards and interacting with the ART Product Team to meet high‑quality expectations.
EI software development using the given architectures and frameworks used in the development of MES202 and OneIT (EQC/EQS V4 Java and oneITHost V4, BasisHost .Net Frameworks).
Development within a Scrum team using Azure DevOps as the underlying platform.
Develop new or enhance existing Equipment Integration software or related central baseline components.
Write unit tests and technical documentation.
Support the Testing/QA team in the Product Team.
Support product releases and take responsibility for fulfilling the global rollout of software related to the Product Team.
