About the Team and Job Role -

Rakuten Rewards India team is looking for an iOS software engineer to join our engineering team. We’re an international team spanning across continents responsible for building app used by hundreds of millions of users.

You will collaborate with product, design and engineering teammates to build new features, and maintain our iOS app while identifying and fixing application bottlenecks, maintaining the code. Responsibilities:

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform.

• Implement requirements on iOS apps and write and update design document.

• Continuously discover, evaluate and implement new technologies to strengthen development efficiency.

• Develop unit test cases for the code.

• Participate in the design, code and test cases review.

• Propose and implement enhancements to the apps to improve sustainability.

Requirements:

• B.E. or M.E. in Computer or equivalent experience

• 2-4 years of total experience in iOS native app development.

• Self-motivated learner.

Experience should include:

• You have native iOS app development experience using swift in combination with both UIKit and SwiftUI.

• You have professional software development experience.

• You bring a high degree of diligence in documentation, testing and coding.

• You have experience working in Agile teams and using tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• You have experience with RESTful APIs, data parsing and integration of third-party libraries.

• You have working knowledge of design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, MVP etc.
