Data Analyst II

Overview

The Data Analyst II position has the responsibility for providing accurate and timely analysis. They will use their analytic skills to determine opportunities to improve data quality and identify areas for improvement in the data that feeds products and is provided directly to clients. The candidate will be responsible for stable monthly and quarterly tasks but must be adaptable and able to pivot to other projects as needed. Recurring tasks are based out of Visual Basic, PostgreSQL, R, and Excel. Candidate must be able to produce queries and analysis from PostgreSQL and R. The candidate will collaborate with other team members based in the US and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  

Responsibilities

• Support data integrity through regular analysis and deep dives into identified areas of the database. 
• Analyst must be able to parse through large amounts of data and draw data-driven conclusions. 
• Create and maintain standard reports. Subject Matter Expert in reports for internal and external clients. 
• Act as a resource to senior members of the Call Center team based in Philippines in collaboration with US-based Data Analyst team.  
• Support clients through deep dives into inquiries, producing succinct explanation of any data changes. 
• Assist Data Analytics with issue resolution and explanations as requested. 
• Responsible for maintaining documentation of any analysis completed and subsequent data enhancements. 
• Must follow through on several projects, ensuring that data fixes achieved desired results. 
• Other analytical duties as assigned. 
  
  

Qualifications

• 2-4 years relevant experience. 
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. 
• Excellent analytical skills. 
• Experience manipulating data and metrics. 
• Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel. 
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, PostgreSQL preferred. 
• Basic knowledge and experience with Excel macros. 
• Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
