The Customer Master Data Analyst / Data Steward is responsible for the operational management, analysis, and continuous improvement of customer master data used across commercial and operational systems. This role ensures customer data is accurate, complete, and maintained according to established governance and quality standards.

Working closely with the Data Quality Lead and Data Governance Lead, the role supports daily data stewardship activities, performs data analysis to identify issues or trends, and provides reporting that enables Sales Operations and commercial teams to make informed decisions.

The role acts as a key bridge between business users and technical teams, ensuring customer data supports critical processes such as customer onboarding, territory management, sales reporting, and order fulfillment.

Let's talk about the role:

Customer Data Stewardship
Maintain and update customer master data across CRM, ERP, and MDM platforms.
Review and validate new customer account requests, updates, and hierarchies.
Ensure data changes comply with established governance standards and business rules.
Support ongoing maintenance of customer attributes including segmentation, addresses, identifiers, and account relationships.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Analyze customer master data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential data quality issues.
Create dashboards and reports that track data quality metrics and operational KPIs.
Support commercial reporting needs related to customer segmentation, territory alignment, and account performance.
Data Quality Monitoring
Monitor data quality metrics such as completeness, consistency, and duplicate records.
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies in collaboration with the Data Quality Lead.
Support root cause analysis and remediation of recurring data issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a liaison between Sales Operations, Customer Service, GTS and Finance on customer data-related matters.
Support governance initiatives by documenting data definitions, data lineage, and stewardship processes.
Participate in projects involving CRM, ERP, and master data management improvements.

Let's talk about you:

Required

3–5 years of experience in data analysis, data stewardship, or master data management.
Experience working with CRM or ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Oracle).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel skills.

Preferred

Experience in med tech, healthcare, or life sciences.
Familiarity with customer master data or MDM environments.
Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Basic SQL or data querying skills.
Understanding of data governance and data quality concepts.
