About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, CCS1 to join our team at RHB Banking Group. This role is responsible for managing the manufacturing and delivery of IT applications and change requests, working closely with internal teams and SBU Engagement Manager/SMEs to ensure consistency, stability, and proper functioning of application systems in alignment with Business needs. You will develop technical solutions within the existing ecosystem while supporting operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the solution delivery lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

Manage manufacturing and delivery of IT application change requests and enhancements internally and with SBU Engagement Manager/SMEs to ensure alignment with Business requirements and system performance expectations.
Develop technical solutions within the boundaries of the existing application and technology ecosystem.
Work closely with the Squad Lead to develop and manage deliverables, work plans, and delivery timelines.
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover improvement opportunities, and design/implement solutions.
Review requirement analysis and define System Integration Testing (SIT) scope and expectations.
Identify potential risks and issues throughout the delivery process and formulate mitigation strategies.
Drive efficiency and effectiveness within the solution delivery function by applying high-quality standards and adhering to established best practices.
Maintain complete understanding of system usage in day-to-day business operations and advocate system and process improvements for operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide production support, including issue troubleshooting and root cause analysis for application-related incidents.
Provide post-implementation support to Business users within assigned support scope.
Ensure compliance with required processes, audit standards, and risk management controls during the execution of user stories and delivery activities.

What We’re Looking For

Strong experience in software development, system enhancement delivery, and production support activities within enterprise environments.
Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Experience in reviewing functional requirements, defining SIT scope, and coordinating delivery across multiple stakeholders.
Proven ability to identify risks, issues, and mitigation actions in solution delivery processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with hands-on experience in investigating root causes of application issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, particularly with Business stakeholders, SMEs, Squad Leads, and delivery teams.
Commitment to adherence to governance, audit, compliance, and risk frameworks.
