Fullstack Developer - SDE3/EM1 (Backend Leaning)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a backend-focused Full Stack Developer (SDE-3 / EM-1) with strong engineering expertise to build and scale high-performance gaming platforms. Working knowledge of React.js for web applications is expected to support end-to-end product development.

In this role, you will primarily be responsible for designing, architecting, and scaling robust backend & Web systems, APIs, and microservices that power high-traffic gaming applications.

You will work closely with product, design, and data teams to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance backend infrastructure, while also contributing to the frontend where required.

The role requires deep expertise in Node.js / NestJS and JavaScript, with strong experience in building distributed systems, optimizing performance, and handling high-concurrency environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend (Web Application) Skills

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js / NestJS and Javascript
• Architect and build microservices, distributed, and event-driven systems
• Develop and maintain REST APIs
• Build fault-tolerant systems on AWS
• Work with databases and data stores including MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Cassandra, and Redshift
• Integrate and manage Kafka and messaging systems
• Optimize backend systems for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Lead system design and architecture reviews
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Docker and Kubernetes

2. Frontend(Web Application) Skills

• Develop responsive web applications using React/NextJS
• Build reusable UI components
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs
• Optimize UI performance
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers

3. Tech Leadership & Collaboration

• Own end-to-end delivery of features and modules
• Collaborate with product, business, and cross-functional teams
• Drive accurate estimation and execution
• Mentor junior developers and uphold engineering best practices
• Experiment with and evaluate new technologies where relevant

Requirements:

• Munimum 5 years of experience in full stack development (Backend Focused)
• Strong expertise in Node.js, NestJS and working experience with React.js (Hooks, Redux/Context)
• Strong hold in Javascript/Typescript
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS cloud
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD
• Excellent problem-solving and system-thinking skills
• Ownership-driven and execution-focused

Good to have:

• Exposure to BI or analytics tools
• Experience with Golang or PySpark

Qualification:

• B.Tech. Degree in Computer Science
