Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and availability of our systems by leveraging your expertise in DevOps practices and tools. The ideal candidate should have 6+ years of engineering experience with 3 to 4 years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer. The candidate should also have expertise in Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Python, PostgreSQL, MSK, Kafka, RDS, Airflow, and AWS.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement highly scalable, available, and fault-tolerant systems using DevOps practices and tools.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other automation tools.
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS services such as RDS, MSK, and EC2.
Deploy applications into AWS environments.
Develop and maintain scripts and tools using Python to automate common tasks.
Deploy and manage PostgreSQL and other databases to ensure high availability and data consistency.
Deploy and manage Kafka clusters to ensure data streaming and real-time processing.
Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure system health and performance.
Participate in on-call rotations to respond to critical incidents and resolve issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience as a DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer.
Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
Strong expertise in Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Python, PostgreSQL, MSK, Kafka, RDS, Airflow, and AWS.
Comfortable with deployments and automation of deployments.
Strong understanding of DevOps practices and principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation.
