Position Summary
We're looking for a passionate Database Administrator who specializes in managing and optimizing database systems for several services in the cloud. You will ensure data integrity, performance, and the reliability of our databases to support backend services.
Role And Responsibilities
- [Database Design and Implementation] Analyze requirements and manage the design and deployment of database solutions.
- [Performance Monitoring and Optimization] Regularly assess database performance and implement solutions for improvement.
- [Improving Database Systems] Ensure efficient use of database components for cost and performance effectiveness.
- [Preserve Reliability of Databases] Maintain high availability and reliability of database systems, especially during application deployments.
- [Securing Service Quality] Collaborate with teams to resolve issues identified through verification processes and enhance application quality.
Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of experience in database administration with a proven track record
- Familiar with Java / Python / C++ , to do SRIN technical coding test (Mandatory).
- Preferably have DBA-related certifications or other DB-related certifications (ex: MongoDB)
- Proficient in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Proficient in NoSQL databases (Amazon DynamoDB, MongoDB)
- Have a good understanding about Database Design Principle such as Data Modeling, Indexing & Performance, Aggregation, Replication, and Sharding
- Have some experiences with Database management tools and performance tuning solution (ex: MongoDB Atlas)
- Have knowledge about database security practive and compliance standard (GDPR, EU DataAct, etc.)
- Have knowledge of cloud database services and architecture
- Have strong capability in analytical skills, troubleshoot, and optimize database performance
- Have strong capability in algorithms, problem-solving, and data structures
- Have good communication skills in English.
