Product Manager - Chatbot

The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. Job Description:

• Own end-to-end product development of Chatbot features, driving ideation, impact analysis, priority definition, system design, and development while overseeing post-launch performance through data analysis for continuous improvements.
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to develop advanced LLM solution. models, predictive analytics, recommendation systems etc. to enhance chatbot effectiveness
• Effectively manage stakeholder expectations and project timelines by developing detailed product plans, proactively mitigating risks, and ensuring seamless collaboration and communication across cross-product teams, engineers, product ops, and analysts.
• Work closely with business teams to develop features aligned with business goals, helping stakeholders understand the product, communicate its value, and define strategic priorities together.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and gaps, applying tailored strategies to refine product positioning and performance, and preparing product proposals to drive informed decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Math & Stats, Engineering, or a related applied quantitative field. Or experience in lieu.
• At least 3 years of full time experience as a product manager.
• At least 1 year of full time product management experience or domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas is preferred: Chatbot technology, recommendation systems, user segmentation & targeting, e-commerce risk management and user experience optimization.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing.

• Experience in using data science and machine learning to solve problems
