Job Mandate

The systems analyst for master data management is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the master data management (MDM) solutions that ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of the organization's data assets. The systems analyst (master data management) works closely with the business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, and IT teams to understand the data requirements, comply with the data governance policies and rules[EBL1] , and implement the MDM processes and workflows. The systems analyst (master data management) also provides technical support, troubleshooting, and training for the MDM users and systems and works closely with vendors for implementation work.

Duties and Responsibilities

BUILD

Create detailed design for modules that need to be developed and align with the requirements and architecture
Conducts SIT for new software/application
Creates system & operational documentation and user guides
Reports progress and issues in a timely manner to delivery manager
Design and develops application code according to the agreed functional design, technical design, methodologies and standards
Design and develops configuration/scripts according to the agreed functional design, technical design, methodologies and standards for package deployment
Prepares package, configuration files, deployment scripts and installation guide for all environments

OPERATIONS SUPPORT

Monitor and measure the performance, accuracy, and completeness of the MDM solutions, and identify and resolve any data quality issues or gaps
Provide technical support (L3/L4), troubleshooting, and training for the MDM users and systems, and ensure the compliance with the data security and privacy regulations

OTHERS

Analyze the business needs and data sources to design and develop the MDM architecture, data models, data integration, data quality, and data security solutions together with the solution/platform architect.
Develop and execute the data migration, data cleansing, data matching, data enrichment, and data synchronization processes for the master data domains
Manage delivery of System Integrator Vendors on MDM Implementation work as necessary with the Delivery Manager.

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience

At least 2 years of experience in Master Data Management solutions, tools, and platforms

Skills

Minimum 5 years of experience in IT development
Knowledgeable in programming languages like Java, Javascript, SQL
Hands on experience on enterprise ETL, Data Quality and Master Data Management tools preferably Informatica and has worked with Customer 360, Provisioning tool and MDM APIs
Conversant with programming/development tools like Development platforms/IDE, Configuration management, Code review etc.
Worked with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods
