Lead Data Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Data Engineer

You’ll make a difference by:

• Design, develop, and maintain real-time streaming pipelines using SnapLogic, Altair and Confluent Kafka
• Implement Kafka topics, producers, consumers, connectors, and schemas
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance tuning of streaming systems
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Develop automation and streaming applications using Python
• Deploy and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab
• Work with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, MSK, CloudWatch, VPC, etc.)
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize streaming pipelines in production
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate streaming data with downstream systems
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across the streaming platform
  
  

You’ll win us over by:

• A bachelors' degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• 3 to 6 years of experience as a data engineer, with strong hands-on experience with SnapLogic and Confluent Kafka (Kafka Streams, Connect, Schema Registry)
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with GitLab and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Solid experience working on AWS cloud services
• Good understanding of distributed systems and event-driven architectures
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting streaming platforms
