We are looking for Lead Data Engineer

You’ll make an impact by,

• Own the full lifecycle of your services, from initial design and development to deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning. If you build it, you run it.
• Design and improve a resilient and scalable backend solution for our internal Marketplace
• Bring your designs and ideas to life on our AWS cloud infrastructure
• Follow software engineering and cloud best practices
• Keep data-, code- and infrastructure security in mind in every step of the process
• Know how to scale yourself using AI solutions (i.e. claude code, antigravity, agents etc)
• Produce and design meaningful logs and data in order to shape better decisions based on this information
• Manage a community of developers using your solution and APIs
• Be a valued technical leader and collaborator in a team of backend and frontend developers
  
  

You’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:

• A master's and bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering or related field
• Extensive experience of Software Engineering best practices (GIT)
• Have a deep understanding of programming and cloud concepts, specifically python, AWS and terraform/OpenTofu
• Proven experience in designing REST APIs
• Familiarity with AI coding solutions (claude code, antigravity, etc)
• Excellent command of English is required
