YOUR ROLE

You conduct cutting-edge research in Embodied AI to seamlessly fuse physical manufacturing operations with digital intelligence.

  • Design and develop AI models that interact with real factory equipment, sensors, and robots to enable intelligent, adaptive behavior on the shop floor.
  • Build and validate perception, control, and decision-making algorithms that can operate robustly in real manufacturing environments.
  • Apply machine learning and advanced data analytics to large volumes of manufacturing and equipment data to enable predictive, autonomous, and closed-loop control.
  • Develop and use simulation and digital twins of processes, equipment, and production lines to design, test, and refine embodied AI solutions before deployment.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, equipment experts, and data scientists to translate operational needs into AI-driven solutions with measurable impact.
  • Document methods and results, and support presentations, publications, and intellectual property (e.g. patents) stemming from your research.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • Master’s or PhD (ongoing or completed) in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Data Science, Electrical/Industrial Engineering, or similar technical field.
  • Solid foundation in machine learning (e.g. supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning).
  • Experience with Python and common AI/ML libraries (e.g. PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn).
  • Understanding of control, robotics, or cyber-physical systems (e.g. motion control, feedback loops, robotics frameworks) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with simulation or digital twin tools (e.g. MATLAB/Simulink, AnyLogic, Gazebo, custom simulators) is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working with real-world, noisy industrial data, including preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to formulate research questions and test hypotheses rigorously.
  • Collaborative and proactive working style, able to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • English business proficiency, both written and spoken, for technical documentation and presentations.
