YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Test R&D Software Solution team within the Global Technology R&D organization. You will be responsible for developing automation and robotics solutions, overseeing the development of all software applications. You will work in an international, multidisciplinary, and multicultural environment, interacting with factories, IT, product groups, quality, finance, suppliers, and executive management.
Key Responsibilities
You will be contributing to implementing ST's vision and roadmap towards Industry 4.0 with below key responsibilities:
- Analyzing processes to automate them using standard technology bricks
- Developing prototypes and software solutions internally or through external suppliers
- Conducting technical and economic benchmarks between different software solutions
- Building and coordinating software development projects, evaluating their costs, benefits, risks, and issues
- Reporting the project status to executive managers
Your Skills & Experiences
- Master's degree in computer engineering, electronic engineering, computer science
- Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
- At least five years of experience in the industrial automation sector, preferably in the semiconductor sector
- Knowledge of C#, C++ languages and solid foundations in object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of Java
- Knowledge of Python
- Knowledge of Git and versioning in general
- Knowledge of databases and SQL, SQLite languages
- Knowledge of XML and XSD formats
