About The Role

Job Summary

The Group Applications Development Analyst is responsible for supporting the development and configuration of business applications. This role involves analyzing requirements, coding solutions, and assisting in the deployment and maintenance of applications.

This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyse problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in analyzing business and technical requirements.

Support the development and configuration of applications using programming and scripting languages.

Participate in application testing and deployment activities.

Troubleshoot and correct programming errors.

Maintain documentation and follow development standards.

Collaborate with team members to deliver application solutions.

Skills & Qualifications

Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and up to 2 years of relevant experience (or equivalent skills) are minimally required to carry out the role.

Basic programming and software development knowledge.

Familiarity with application lifecycle and development tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic IT environment.
