Java Software Engineer

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of software development experience in enterprise applications.
• Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and commitment to delivery excellence.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal), analytical thinking, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Experience delivering solutions for medium to large‑scale technology projects.
• Good to have knowledge of Payment screening, sanctions screening, AML systems, or financial messaging, e.g. MQ, ISO20022, SWIFT

Key Domain/Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java development
• Strong proficiency in Batch scripting, Shell scripting, Windows scripts, and job scheduling.
• Experience with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for data processing, stored procedures, performance tuning.
• Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Control-M or similar scheduling tools.
• Experience with DevOps tools: CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube, etc.
• Good understanding and experience of API development and microservices concepts.
• Good to have experience with MQ messaging technologies.
• Ability to understand technical process flows, systems logic, and integration patterns.
