Role Overview

We are seeking an AI Solution Architect to support our sales and business development efforts by designing, proposing, and presenting AI-powered CCTV and computer vision solutions to clients.

This role bridges technical AI capabilities and business needs, working closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver compelling and feasible AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Presales & Solution Design

• Design end-to-end AI CCTV and computer vision solutions based on client requirements.
• Translate business problems into technical AI solutions using Tapway’s AI platform.
• Propose system architecture including AI models, cameras, edge devices, cloud infrastructure, data requirements, and integrations.

Client Engagement & Technical Support

• Participate in client meetings and presentations as the technical solution expert.
• Create and present demos using Tapway’s AI labelling and inference platform.
• Explain AI concepts, system architecture, and use cases in a clear, non-technical manner to clients.
• Support proof-of-concept (POC) discussions and technical feasibility assessments.

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

• Work closely with Sales to support proposals, tenders, and RFP responses.
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure solution feasibility and alignment.
• Provide technical input for pricing, scope, and delivery considerations.

Documentation & Proposal Support

• Prepare solution documents including:
• Solution architecture diagrams
• Technical proposals
• Use case descriptions
• Maintain updated solution templates and reference architectures.

Market & Product Knowledge

• Stay updated on AI CCTV, computer vision, and video analytics trends.
• Understand competitor solutions and market positioning.
• Provide feedback to the Product team based on client requirements and market demand.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Solution Architect, Presales Engineer, AI Engineer, or related role.
• Hands-on experience with AI CCTV, video analytics, or computer vision solutions is mandatory.
• Degree holder in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of:
• Computer vision and AI models
• CCTV systems and camera hardware
• Edge devices and cloud-based AI systems

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

• Experience working with AI video analytics platforms (people counting, facial recognition, behavior analysis, etc.).
• Familiarity with edge AI devices, GPUs, and deployment environments.
• Ability to create solution architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with Data Analysis and Visualization using SQL (Tableau, Power BI) strongly preferred.
