Location: - Chennai/Bangalore

Experience Range: - 4 + yrs

Job Description:

• Build the functional test plan and strategy for a high volume and low latency application.
• Analyse the change requirements, assess impact, come up with test strategy & plan, generate & execute test cases.
• Developing automated test scripts for a strategic application using Selenium and Java.
• Work closely with the application development and dev-ops to improve performance, scalability and resiliency of the system.
• Development of common tools and utilities in Java to capture more detailed metrics from the system logs.

Primary Skills

• 5+ years of experience in designing, developing and executing the functional & automated testing scripts.
• Should have worked in Agile and must be aware of Agile processes. Exposure to JIRA required.
• Good understanding of automated end to end testing
• Knowledge and Application experience of programming concepts in Java technology stack required.
• Good understanding of Micro-Services Architecture.
• Good understanding of Rest APIs and Websockets based communication.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development/design issues using clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of QA and testing standards, methodologies, tools and processes
• Candidate should have ability to learn new techniques and technologies quickly
• Analytical Skill: Candidate should be posses’ good analytical skills

Secondary Skills

• Experience working with Banking applications.
• Good understanding of asynchronous messaging systems like kafka, solace, MQ or similar.
• Knowledge of QA and testing standards, methodologies, tools and processes
• Working understanding of Dockers, Kubernetes and other deployment and infrastructure as code technologies
• Ability to succeed in high energy, dynamic environment
• Self-driven, good communication skills
