Data Solution Architect - Azure

Experience : 8-15 yrs, Location : PAN India

Key Responsibilities :

Azure Data Architecture & Solutioning

• Design, architect, and deliver end-to-end Azure data platform solutions including ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and visualization.
• Lead solution architecture for enterprise-scale data platforms, including transactional systems, Data Warehouses, and Data Lakes.
• Define data architecture patterns, best practices, and reference architectures on Azure.
• Translate business requirements into technical architecture designs and scalable data solutions.

Azure Data Technologies

• Architect and work with:
• Azure Synapse Analytics
• Azure SQL Database / SQL Managed Instance
• Azure Data Factory
• Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
• Cosmos DB
• Azure Databricks
• Azure Analysis Services / Power BI
• Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and performance optimization.
• Design and implement ETL/ELT frameworks and data integration pipelines.

AI & ML Solutions (Secondary Skill)

• Architect AI & ML solutions using:
• Azure Machine Learning
• Azure Cognitive Services
• Azure OpenAI (preferred)
• Define ML lifecycle architecture including data preparation, model training, deployment, and monitoring.
• Work with data science teams to operationalize models (MLOps) on Azure.
• Integrate AI/ML services into enterprise data platforms and applications.

Cloud Delivery & Deployment

• Lead deployment strategies using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (ARM/Bicep/Terraform).
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Optimize solutions for performance, scalability, cost, and reliability.
• Guide teams through production deployments, migration, and modernization initiatives.

Estimation & Stakeholder Engagement

• Own effort estimation, solution sizing, and cost modeling for Azure data solutions.
• Participate in pre-sales, RFPs, proposals, and technical presentations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.
