Role Summary

We are looking for ETL Testing and ETL Automation professionals to support data validation and quality assurance activities for large‑scale data platforms within the APAC program. The role involves validating end‑to‑end ETL pipelines, data migrations, integrations, and supporting automation initiatives across multiple systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of hands‑on experience in ETL and Data Testing, with strong exposure to data ingestion, transformation, loading, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ETL testing for data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes.
• Validate source‑to‑target mappings, business rules, and data reconciliation across systems.
• Execute data migration testing, including completeness, accuracy, and consistency checks.
• Perform SQL‑based data validation across source, staging, and target layers.
• Validate ETL jobs, workflows, schedules, and error handling mechanisms.
• Design and execute ETL automation scripts for regression and sanity validation.
• Support API and integration data validation where applicable.
• Collaborate with development, data engineering, and business teams to resolve data defects.
• Prepare test cases, test execution reports, defect reports, and data validation summaries.
• Ensure adherence to QA governance, data quality standards, and audit requirements.

Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong experience in ETL / Data Testing
• Proficiency in SQL (complex joins, aggregations, reconciliation queries)
• Hands‑on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, or similar)
• Experience in Data Warehouse / Data Lake testing
• Knowledge of data migration and reconciliation testing
• Experience in automation frameworks for ETL testing (Python, shell scripts, or custom frameworks)

Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills

• Experience with GCP / BigQuery or cloud‑based data platforms
• Exposure to API testing and integration data validation
• Knowledge of telecom or enterprise data domains
• Experience working in Agile / PI‑based delivery models
• Familiarity with JIRA or similar defect management tools
