IICS – Data Engineer (HYD) 5+years

Job Description & Summary:

• 7+ years of exp in IICS and 3+ in Snowflake.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Optimize Data Pipelines:

Create and refine ETL/ELT processes in IICS to transfer data from existing systems (e.g., Oracle) to Snowflake.

• Data Quality and Validation:

Implement checks and processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the migration.

• Schema Conversion:

Work with database administrators and architects to convert existing database schemas for use in Snowflake.

• Error Handling and Monitoring:

Set up robust error handling mechanisms and performance monitoring for the data integration workflows.

• Post-Migration Support:

Provide support during and after the go-live phase to stabilize the new Snowflake environment.

• Performance Tuning:

Tune IICS mappings and Snowflake configurations for optimal data pipeline performance.

Required Skills

• IICS Expertise:

Deep hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), including building mappings, tasks, and parameter files.

• Snowflake Knowledge:

Working knowledge of Snowflake, including its architecture, data loading capabilities, and best practices for data integration.

• SQL/PL/SQL:
• Strong proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and manipulation from legacy databases.
