Job Description :

• Deep technical expertise in Network security technology domain with demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas – Firewalls, IPS/IDS, Web Proxy, NAC, VPN.
• Proven experience in maintaining security solutions across enterprise environments.
• Provide compliance reports (monthly and based on need)
• Network security deployment & configuration
• Device upgrade and patch management
• Configuration and change management.
• Change & configuration management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Creation of SOPs for daily operations of network security tools and services
• Creation and modification of custom rules for IPS services
• Monitoring security advisory groups to ensure all necessary security updates, patches and preventive measures are in place.
• Support forensics activates and requirements.
• Good soft skills and multi-tasking abilities
• Provide day to day operational support for the Firewall Management Service.
• Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and operation of firewall setups and management.
• Your role involves resolving operational incidents, managing firewall security policies and rule sets, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
• Expert level knowledge of Fault Management like Identify and Classify Fault, Investigate and Diagnose Fault and Provide Fault resolution.
• Should have very good experience of software patch management to manage the Firewall patch management cycle, patch testing and deployment of patches on timely basis
• Candidate should have knowledge of backup and restoration for configuration as per defined backup and restoration policy
• Create various reports for remediation, change tracking and on demand basis.
• Initial firewall/IPS testing of parameters, operation, support and commissioning.
• Knowledge of Analysis of IPSec VPNs implementation and Manage and Monitor all VPN connectivity.
• Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems
• Support client with Firewall Management related questions including those related to remediation procedures.
• Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement Core level debugging.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems.
• Adhere to change control/management process.
• Network Security KPI’s & Reporting Metrics
• Certification in any of these :Fortigate, Palo Alto, Checkpoint
